Introduction and Conclusion are not part of the 3 paragraphs but your notes will help you write them

INTRODUCTION:

Does it have a hook?

Does it have a clear thesis statement?

(This comes from readings and what the requirements are for the paper. Your jot notes will come in handy!)

General Examples of Introduction are:

Body:

Paragraph #1, Paragraph 2, Paragraph 3:

Does it have a topic sentence

Did you explain the topic

Does it have factual information or information based on experience

- one example

- two examples

Did you write what the examples are suggesting

Is the topic properly explained

Does the paragraph flow

(Each paragraph will develop more on the three examples given in the thesis statement. Again jot notes will come handy and don't forget to use quotations and cite the information. All information is factual/true)

Developing a Paragraph: The topic Sentence presents the main idea as already mentioned. The rest of the sentences in a paragraph must develop or explain the main idea by using details, example(s). Explaining sentences in the paragraph that relate to the topic sentence is called "developing the paragraph". The sentences create a clearer and more vivid picture (with details/information) for the reader. The sentences flow logically from one idea to the next.
